What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser for a website. Other browser storage technologies, including local storage, can also remember information between visits. They are distinct from the technical information a server receives when delivering a page.
Storage used by the page features
The editorial pages and their supplied JavaScript do not set analytics or advertising cookies. The navigation, stage tabs and scroll effects do not use persistent browser storage. The contact tool does not write drafts to cookies or local storage.
| Feature | Where information exists | Persistence |
|---|---|---|
| Menu and active tab | Current page memory | Not saved by the page code |
| Contact draft | Current page memory | Not saved by the page code |
| Copy message | Your device clipboard after your action | Controlled by your device |
| Download text | A file on your device after your action | Until you delete it |
Manage your preferences
The supplied editorial features have no optional tracking category to enable. If a site-wide privacy control is displayed, use that control to accept or reject any optional services it describes and to revisit your choice.
You can also review, block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser’s privacy settings. Browser settings may apply to other websites as well, so review their scope before changing them. Deleting site storage does not delete downloaded text files, clear your device clipboard or remove emails you have sent.
Your browser may independently remember form values, restore a previous session or synchronise clipboard content. These device features are not controlled by the contact drafting tool.
External links and email
Source links open separate websites that may use their own cookies and storage. An email link opens your configured email application; that service has its own privacy practices. No external source is embedded as a tracking widget in these editorial pages.
